Privacy
The “HoborNob” Privacy Policy discloses what information we collect when you interact with Hobornob.com and how we use that information. Please read the Privacy Policy, so you can make an informed decision.
Sharing Information and Content
“HoborNob” recognizes that you own all of the content and information you post on the website. Through the privacy settings, you can control how your information is displayed.
- In regards to intellectual property rights such as photos and videos (referred to as “IP Content”), you give “HoborNob” non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty free permission, depending on your privacy settings, to use IP Content that you post on “HoborNob.” When you delete the IP Content, “HoborNob” can no longer use that information. If your content has been shared with others and they have not deleted it, then it may remain on “HoborNob.”
- IP Content is deleted as soon as you remove the information. “HoborNob” may keep backup copies of the information but as soon as you delete it, it will not be available to others.
- “HoborNob” likes receiving feedback from its users and may use the suggestions without any obligation to compensate you.
Safety
“HoborNob” will work diligently to keep “HoborNob” safe, though we cannot guarantee it. We need you to commit to the following to help keep “HoborNob” safe for everyone:
- You will not use automated technology (robots, spiders, etc.) to collect users content and information or upload a virus or any other unauthorized code
- You will not participate in a pyramid scheme on “HoborNob”
- You will not post or send spam on “HoborNob”
- You will not access an account that is not yours
- You will not harass, threaten, blackmail, intimidate or bully other users on “HoborNob”
- You will not post nudity or graphic violence on “HoborNob”
- You will not post hateful or threatening content on “HoborNob”
- You will not use “HoborNob” to do anything unlawful or malicious
- You will not do anything that affects the proper working of “HoborNob”
- You will not provide any contest, giveaways or sweepstakes through “HoborNob” without gaining permission from “HoborNob” staff
- You will not force other members to violate the Terms and Conditions
Account Security
“HoborNob” requires that all users provide their real names with real information. You agree to abide by the following rules:
- You will only create an account for yourself. Unless given permission, you will not create an account for someone else
- You will not use “HoborNob” if you are under 18
- You will not use “HoborNob” if you are a convicted sex offender
- You will not give anyone your password to access your account
- You will keep all of your information up to date, especially your personal contact information
- You will not transfer your own account to anyone else
Other People’s Safety and Security
- You will not take any action on “HoborNob” that violates the law or violates some else’s rights.
- We can remove any content that you post on “HoborNob” if we feel it violates the Terms and Conditions.
- We have the right to remove or disable your account if we feel you are violating the Terms and Conditions.
- If you are collecting information from users you must do the following
- Get their consent
- Let them know what information you will collect and how you will use it.
- You will not post anyone’s personal financial information on “HoborNob”
- You will not post anyone’s identification documents on “HoborNob”
Advertisements
“HoborNob” strives to provide advertisement space that is valuable to advertisers and advertisements that are interesting to users.
- We do not identify paid services and advertisements as such on “HoborNob”
- We do not give your information to advertisers without your permission
- We do not give your content to advertisers without your permission
Advertisers
“HoborNob” allows you to advertise to a very specific audience. We do not guarantee the number of clicks your advertisement will receive in a particular advertisement campaign. You agree to the below:
- “HoborNob” cannot control how others interact with your advertisement. We cannot guard against any click fraud that may take place that may affect the cost of running your advertisement
- You will not communicate publicly about your relationship with “HoborNob” without permission
- We can use your information, content and advertisement for “HoborNob” marketing and promotional purposes
- If you are placing an advertisement for someone else, you must have the legal authority to place an advertisement and bind them to this advertisement statement
- We may remove your advertisement for any reason
Changes to Terms and Conditions and Termination of Account
- “HoborNob” reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time. As our business evolves we will notify you of changes that are made to the Terms and Conditions for legal and administrative reasons.
- If you violate the Terms and Conditions or create legal exposure for “HoborNob,” “HoborNob” can terminate your account and will notify you with an email. As we may terminate your account at any time, you may also terminate your account at any time.
Disputes
- All disputes regarding this statement will be resolved exclusively in a state or federal court located in Dallas County, in Texas.
- If anyone brings a claim against “HoborNob” related to your actions, content or information on “HoborNob,” you will indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all damages.
